Zach heads up curriculum and professional development at Workbench. Struggling to engage students and share with his peers as a teacher in Baltimore City, Zach sought out ways to incorporate technology, PBL, and problem solving into his classroom. His passion for PBL led him to found the VEX Robotics League in Baltimore which is still thriving today. Zach discovered Workbench and a new mission formed: help provide a tool that would allow teachers to easily incorporate PBL into their classrooms at scale.
